five victims were reported in Damascus Suburb today including two children and one defected soldier. Victims were killed during clashes and shelling on residential areas. Several funerals were mobilized as well.
Regime personnel opened fire on demonstrations and mourners, launched random assault and detention raid on homes and farms, detained dozens of residents. Security forces stationed heavily on rooftops and on the streets and screened vehicles and pedestrians.
Massive explosions and heavy mortar shelling rocked districts and farms and sound bombs were hurled on the streets to terrorize civilians.
Residents are still on strike in most cities in protest against the continuous killing. All forms of communication have been disconnected for eight days in a row in the entire suburban area and for almost a month in Douma.
