The regime army perpetrated a brutal massacre which was neglected by media. Families were summarily executed inside shelters. Sixty victims most of which were women and children were killed. They were either slaughtered or shot dead. More than one hundred and fifty civilians were severely injured. Eighty percent of the residents were displaced. Hundreds of families were besieged and they couldn`t leave the city. Many neighborhoods were entirely destroyed. Shelling targeted three power stations resulted in power cut. The regime troops, tanks and military vehicles stormed the city from three directions. The city came under heavy artillery, tanks and helicopters shelling. All means of communications were disconnected and the city was closed. The rest of the residents were deprived of food, bread and all necessities of life. Friday Prayers were not performed due to the previous reasons.
