Thirty residents were killed in rural Damascus this Friday; Yabrood 13, Sbaineh 6, ‘Adraa 2, Alhasakah 2 (killed on ‘Adraa road), Saqba 1, Qara 1, Harasta 1, Dareyya 1, Assahel 1 and Golan 1 ( killed south of Damascus.)
Yabrood: Regime forces launched fierce aerial raids and unprecedented rocket shelling on residential areas killing 13 residents, including two women, wounding dozens and triggering explosions. Regime forces also targeted the industrial district and the vicinity of a nearby town (Almaraj) with three Grad missiles and launched artillery shelling on Assahel.
Sbaineh: Assad forces targeted the town with a surface-to-surface missile and fierce rocket shelling killing 6 residents, wounding dozens and causing colossal damage to buildings.
‘Adraa: One FSA fighter was killed and five were hospitalized due to toxic gas inhalation while attempting to invade the 39th brigade. The 39th brigade targeted the city with rockets (107.)
Fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces supported by Iranian and Lebanese militias occurred for six days in a row in eastern Ghoota. The FSA killed and wounded several regime soldiers, liberated several points in Albahariyah and targeted Damascus International Airport with two rockets causing damage to the runway.
Almlaiha: Warplanes launched three aerial raids on the town targeting the outskirts with guided rockets. Clashes between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces took place near Annur and Thameco roadblocks.
Azzabadani: Assad forces stationed on the eastern mountain targeted the city with tanks shelling for five days in a row killing three residents and wounding dozens. Residents continue to suffer a severe shortage in all basic needs.
Dareyya and Mu’adamiyyat Ashaam: Military helicopters hovered over the area while regime forces targeted the western and southern sides in Dareyya with shelling causing colossal damage to residential areas and infrastructure. The FSA managed to keep at bay regime forces attempting to invaded the region.
Zamalka: Fierce rocket and heavy artillery shelling targeted the town amid fierce clashes between the FSA and regime forces on the sides of the Southern Bypass.
Otaya: Mortar and artillery shelling targeted the town. No injuries have been reported.
Bait Jin: Six artillery shells fell down on the town. No injuries have been reported.
