Seventeen residents were killed across the suburban area this Friday; Douma 3, Mu'addamiyyat Ashaam 1, Bakh'aa 1, Yabrood 1, Halboon 1, Qudsaiya 1, Almlaiha 1, Alhameh 1, Hafeer Foqa 1, Alkessweh 1, Alhusseiniah Refugee Camp 1, Zamalka 1, Dareyya 1, Idlib 1( killed in Harasta.)
Athiyabiyah: Fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and pro-regime foreign Shiite fighters (Hezbollah fighters) continued to take place on Athiyabiyah and Albahdaliyah's outskirts as Hezbollah fighters have been attempting to invade the Athiyabiyah for five days in a row. Meanwhile, regime forces including the 58th Brigade targeted the town with fierce shelling with all sorts of heavy machinery. At least 300 shells rained down on the town, and the FSA managed to keep Hezbollah fighters at bay.
Hosh Arab: Dozens of residents were wounded during aerial bombardment with military helicopters on Hosh Arab, Yabrood’s outskirts and Mt Marmaron.
Almlaiha: Regime rocket shelling targeted the city’s farmlands and Alfatih mosque. The shelling attacks caused colossal damage to buildings and set homes and a lumber warehouse on fire.
Mu'addamiyyat Ashaam: A five-year-old child was fatally shot in the heart while another child and a man were seriously wounded by Assad snipers stationed in the eastern quarter. Regime forces targeted residential areas with shelling, wounding civilians including women and children.
Zamalka: Clashes between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and regime forces took place until the morning hours amid fierce rocket and artillery shelling on the town.
Yelda: Fierce heavy artillery shelling targeted the town during Friday prayers.
Dareyya: Regime forces targeted the city with fierce artillery shelling and intermittent tank gunfire.
Alqutaifa: The regime's 155th Brigade targeted the western suburban area in Arraqqah Province (near Attabaqah) with two Scud missiles at 11:45 pm and 1:06 am.
Demonstrations mobilized in Saqba, Douma, Almlaiha, Qara, 'Erbeen and Dareyya.
