Twenty citizens were killed in rural Damascus this Wednesday; Zakiyah 3, Yabrood 3, Dumair 2, Alqunaitirah 1, Al'aabadah 1, Addanaji 1, Harasta 1, 'Aaqraba 1, Zebdeen 1, Kanaker 1, Azzabadani 1, M'aaraba 1 and 2 unidentified casualties.
Ain Tarma: Clashes between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and regime forces took place on the Southern Bypass.
Jisreen: Assad forces stationed at the Air Defense Administration fiercely shelled the township and other areas in Eastern Ghootah, wounding a number of residents and destroying civilian buildings.
Yelda: Regime mortar shelling targeted the town.
Shab’aa: Artillery and rocket shelling by the 81st Regiment.
Douma: Regime warplanes flew over the city, and Assad forces struck residential buildings with mortar shells.
Dareyya: The 4th Division bombarded the city with mortar shells and heavy artillery, and FSA and regime snipers exchanged fire at several fronts in the city.
Mu’addamiyyat Ashaam: The 4th Division struck residential areas with fierce and indiscriminate shelling (at rate of 10 shells per minute), and fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces took place on several fronts in the city as the latter attempted to invade the region.
Azzabadani: Fierce regime shelling targeted the western mountain and other areas where refugee families sought shelter.
The Southern Suburban Area: Fierce artillery shelling by the 158th Brigade on the region.
Barzah (Damascus): Assad forces launched four aerial raids and fierce artillery shelling on the district in an attempt to invade the area.
