Twenty four residents were killed in rural Damascus on Tuesday. The fatalities per area were as follows; Yelda 3, Almlaihah 2, Khan Asheeh 2, Douma 1, Zamalka 1, Ain Alfeejah 1, Ajjarbah 1, Deir Al’aasafeer 1, Damascus 1 and Homs 2.
Zamalka: Assad forces fiercely shelled the city, wounding a number of residents as surveillance planes hovered over the area.
Dareyya: Regime warplanes targeted residential areas with fuel air bombs, causing colossal damage to buildings.
Misraba: Heavy mortar shells rained down on the territories between Misraba and Douma.
Mu’addamiyyat Ashaam: The Fourth Division supported by Assad forces stationed at Almazza air base fiercely struck the city with heavy artillery and mortar shelling starting the early morning hours, wounding a number of residents. Plumes of smoke also covered the city’s northern side as Assad forces detonated residential buildings on Damascus-Alqunaitirah freeway.
