Fifteen residents were killed across the suburban area on Wednesday; Douma 3, Shab'aa 3, Assayda Zainab 1, 'Erbeen 1, Annashiriyah 1, Saqba 1, Misraba 1, Albuwaida 1, Khan Asheeh 1, Madyara 1 and one unidentified victim.
Shab'aa and Hateetet Aturkman: At least three Shab'aa residents, including a woman and a child, were killed and scores of others wounded as a result of regime rocket shelling and aerial bombardment on farmlands in Hateetet Atturkman. The Free Syrian Army (FSA) managed to keep at bay regime forces attempting to invade Hateetet Atturkman, Shab'aa, Arrikabiyah and neighboring areas amid fierce regime rocket and mortar shelling on the outskirts.
'Erbeen: Regime forces fiercely shelled the city with heavy artillery as children were leaving their schools, killing a woman and wounding many others, mostly children.
Hosh Arab: Fierce regime artillery shelling targeted the eastern side of the village and neighboring villages (Bakh'aa and Rankoos.)
Azzabdani: Regime forces resumed shelling attacks on the city, and Assad forces stationed at checkpoints indiscriminately arrested a number of women and children.
Douma: Regime mortar shelling targeted residential buildings.
Hajeerah: MiG fighter jets flew over the township, and regime forces on the ground shelled residential buildings with heavy artillery.
